Vincenza Pesole, 84, passed away in her home surrounded by loved ones on February 25, 2021. She was a retired 16-year Fresno Unified School District employee and 44-year resident of Fresno. She is survived by her children, Rosanna and Michael, grandchildren, Amalia, Anthony, Vincenza, Sarkis, Michael, Andrea, and Bianca, as well as great-grandchildren, Nicolas, Enzo, and Giuliana. She is predeceased by her husband of 48 years, Vito, and her beloved daughter, Frances.
Vincenza was born in Carbonara di Bari, Italy on September 25, 1936. She married the love of her life, Vito, in 1953. Vincenza and family moved to the Bronx, New York in December 1969. Shortly after, they settled in Fresno. Her passions were cooking, gardening, being with her family, and enjoying the fruits of her labor. She had endless energy, was fierce, and had a strong will. Her pastimes included watching wrestling, soap operas, and anything culinary.
