Viola devoted her life to caring for others, both within her own home and through her work as a house cleaner for others. Her days were marked by steady diligence and a quiet strength—an enduring, practical kind of love expressed through faithful service and attention to the needs of those around her.
For 75 years, Viola shared a devoted marriage with her husband, Norman Huebert, building a life grounded in commitment and constancy. Her faith was central to who she was; she accepted Jesus Christ as her personal Savior in 1937, a conviction that remained a guiding foundation throughout her life.
Viola is survived by her daughter, Donna Grunau (Phil); her grandsons, Jeff Grunau (Launa) and Daniel Grunau (Holly); and her granddaughter, Amy Yrigollen (Frank). Viola also leaves seven great grandchildren and one great great grandchild to cherish her memory.
She was preceded in death by her father, Henry M. Penner; her mother, Susan Benke Penner; her sister, Laurine Wright; her brother, Newton Penner; her husband, Norman Huebert; and her daughter, Kathleen McGee.
A Graveside Service will be held at 1:00 pm on June 22, 2026, at Belmont Memorial Park, 201 N. Teilman Ave, Fresno, CA 93706.
