Virgil "Jake" Jacobson of Clovis, passed away on Friday, December 27th, 2013 at the age of 91. He was born in Britt, Iowa on November 14th, 1922. He is survived by his son, Thomas & wife Christi; daughters, Mary & husband John, Barbara & husband Robert and Jane Elaine & Husband Malachy; his five grandchildren, two great-grandchildren and many family members and friends.
Funeral Services will be held at the San Joaquin Valley National Cemetery, 32053 W. McCabe Road, Santa Nella, California 95322. Military honors will be present by the U.S. Navy Honors Team, on Friday, January 3rd, 2014 at 1:30 p.m. Remembrances can be made to Trinity Lutheran Church, 3973 N. Cedar Ave., Fresno, CA 93726.
