

Wacel Wayne Foster was born in Eldorado Oklahoma on March 23, 1926. He went to be with the Lord he loved on July 17, 2011 at the age of 85. He is survived by his wife, Bette, son Randy and Charlotte Foster, granddaughter Anita and Brian Hann, great-granddaughter Finley Grace Hann, granddaughter Cynthia Foster, and grandson Brian Foster.
Wayne spent many years as the owner of a produce business and an owner/operator of his own trucking company. He also served as a pastor of The Church of the Redeemer in Selma, California. The last 10 years before his retirement, Wayne worked as a Fresno Area eXpress (FAX) bus driver where he earned many driving awards.
He was best known for his love of the Lord, his sense of humor and love for people. He always had a story to tell and loved to joke around with people. He loved his church, his family and adored his grandkids. His greatest accomplishment was helping others find the peace and love of God that he experienced.
A viewing will be held on Wednesday, July 20th from 3pm to 7pm at Tinkler Funeral Chapel, 475 North Broadway, Fresno and a celebration of his life will be held on Thursday, July 21st at 10am at West McKinley Church, 3014 W. McKinley (at Marks) 93722. Remembrances can be sent to West McKinley Church building program in lieu of flowers.
