He married Phyllis Murphy in 1940 and they spent 69 years together until her passing in 2009. Wally proudly served our country during WWII in the United States Navy aboard the USS Schley.
He owned and operated the Wally's Jolly Kone Drive-In and the Lucky Bun in Calwa. He was in the Knights of Columbus as a 4th degree. Wally was very devoted to his wife and children.
Wally is survived by his sister, Eva Forsyth; and his four children, Deanna Hannart and her husband Jean Pierre, Larry Langland and his wife Susan, Cheryl Richardson and her husband Gary, and John Langland; 11 grandchildren and 14 great-grandchildren.
