Wallace was a proud graduate of Kerman High School, where he was the valedictorian and a three-sport athlete. He went on to earn his bachelor’s degree from the University of California, Berkeley, where he also played outfield for their baseball team. While attending UC Berkeley, Wallace was drafted into the United States Army in 1952. He served honorably for two years, stationed on the Pacific Island of Eniwetok.
Wallace built a long and successful career with Graybar Electric, retiring after 35 years of dedicated service as Branch Operations Manager.
He was preceded in death by his beloved wife of 62 years, Elizabeth “Betty” Locarnini, whose memory he cherished always.
Wallace is survived by his loving children: Daena Forestiere and her husband Joey, Debbie Dunnegan and her husband Steve, and Rick Locarnini and his wife Yolanda; his grandchildren, Matthew Forestiere, Michael Forestiere and his wife Tamar, Kara Kajans and her husband Brennan, Kyle Dunnegan, Samantha Page and her husband Brandon; his great-grandchildren, Mateo and Alek Forestiere, Ava and Kennedy Page, and Hunter Kajans; his sister, Doris Ellena and her husband Jack; and sister-in-law Julie Rocha.
Wallace will be remembered for his strong work ethic, dedication to family, and quiet pride in his accomplishments. His legacy lives on through the generations who loved him deeply.
