

The Mills family migrated and settled in Fresno, Ca during 1930’s. Bud graduated from Roosevelt High School 1946. While at Roosevelt he met Thelma Caldwell, and they became high school sweethearts. They recently celebrated 63 years of marriage.
Bud’s spirit of adventure produced Mills Drywall in 1952. They embraced the entrepreneurial spirit and entered the world of small business. He was devoted to his career and was a successful businessman for 37 years before retiring in 1989. Bud had a passion for the mission field and spent countless years building churches in the states as well as on the mission fields.
He is survived by his loving and devoted wife Thelma, children, Keith Mills, Brenda Jones and Janet Thomas. He was the proud grandfather of eight grandchildren and their spouses. Bud is survived by one brother, James Mills & two sisters Florene Calvert Bethel of Fresno and Wanda Calvert of Lompoc Ca. Bud was known, loved and adored by eleven great grandchildren who called him G~PA. He leaves behind many nieces and nephews and friends who knew him as Uncle Bud.
A Celebration of Life Service is planned for Saturday, September 8, 2012 at 10 AM Fresno First Church of the Nazarene 6758 E. Butler Ave, 93727
