Wayne Lee Meisner

Wayne Meisner was born on February 19, 1936, to George and Marie Meisner in Fresno, CA. They, along with his brother Allen, were reunited this past Tuesday, August 4, 2015, when Wayne passed away peacefully.

A farmer his entire life, he enjoyed his days toiling the fields and tending to his grapes. His passion and incomparable work ethic was something that was truly admired.

His exuberance towards life was truly contagious. Some of his joys consisted of spending time in Morro Bay, savoring delicious meals, hitting the weekend's estate sales, sharing funny stories, and cherishing time with his family and friends. He never met a stranger.

Those who loved him will always remember his spirit and strength. He leaves behind his bride of 55 years, Jeanette Meisner; two daughters, Michelle Meisner and Melinda Muzio and her husband Michael; and four granddaughters, Arielle Di Pinto, and Aubrey, Brynna, and Camryn Muzio; as well as his brothers, Don and Jim Meisner. His four legged friends, Cyndi, Dixie, and Shorty, will also miss him very much.

Visitation will be held at Stephens & Bean Chapel on Thursday, August 6, 2015, from 4:00 to 7:00 p.m.

A Graveside Service will be held at Fresno Memorial Gardens on Friday, August 7, 2015, at 10:00 a.m.
