Winnie Moniz

Winnie was the most beautiful, loving and devoted wife and mother. She will be missed beyond words. She was an accomplished seamstress and enjoyed crafts, travel, watching the Boston Red Sox, and above all, being with her family. Winnie and Ed traveled an untold number of miles together across the United States and Europe. Winnie was a devoted member of the Catholic church and administered communion to the homebound.

Everyone who knew her fell immediately in love with Winnie. She was beautiful inside and out. She was wise, clever, strong, talented, sweet, happy, loving, and the most positive woman one could ever meet.

Winnie is survived by her children, Kathy Roberts and her husband, Marc Fowler of Sun City, CA, Jim Moniz and his wife, Kate Leonard of Hanover, MA, Tom Moniz and his wife, Sandi Moniz of Lovel, OH, Sandi Moniz and her husband, Mark Isonio of Fresno, CA, John Moniz and his companion, Valerie Bertoldo, of Lemoore, CA, Tammy Moniz and her wife, Michelle Miccio of Fresno, CA; and her grandchildren, Brian Roberts, Erinlea McGowan- Moniz, Sam Moniz, Jacob Moniz Lucas Moniz, Nick Fleshing and Sage Moniz.

Join us in celebrating a life well lived. Visitation will be held at Whitehurst, Sullivan, Burns & Blair Funeral Home on Wednesday, May 3, 2017, from 3:00 to 7:00 p.m. followed by a Recitation of the Holy Rosary at 7:00 p.m.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at Our Lady of Victory Catholic Church on Thursday, May 4, 2017, at 9:30 a.m. Interment to follow at San Joaquin Valley National Cemetery, Santa Nella, CA.
