Today in remembrance  of my sister i will go to the mall and shop for clothes and eat at Rubios. That was our favorite thing to do. Im also going to watch the video 

The Garcia family sends their deepest condolences. My father, Eugene Garcia, worked with her in Fresno County and as a Union Representative were they both fought tooth and nail for workers rights. One of my earliest memories was meeting her at a union celebration when I was a kid and as a college student working with her and my father to register Fresno State students to vote. As an adult, she was by my father's side before he passed away. My father and her were very close friends, inseparable at times, and backed each other up when times got tough. She will be deeply missed and I am sorry to hear about her passing.      

This is your auntie Carol, you were my favorite neice. Say hello to my mom, your grandmother who delivered you at the house. That was a famous story among our family. You left to soon, I am happy to say the last time I seen you, you made me happy. Until we meet in Heaven, I love always.

You will be missed dearly. I will always remember your contagious laugh and smile. You were a positive, kind, and loving addition to our family.  It was an honor to get to know you and know that both you and my brother Austin share a love so beautiful.  Your cheerful spirit always shed a light everywhere you went.  We know your now in heaven with our Lord, May you rest in peace and please know you  are loved so much. 💜🙏💜

Hello everyone, I am Yvonnes brother chad, I am so saddened that my sister passed without warning, she was the love of my life! She supported me as a parent, brother, mentor, friend,  she was so many big things in life such as a big sister, role model, parent, ...she intuitively knew all these roles to become in people’s lives. I love her with all my heart! Also my heart is empty without her in it! Love chaddy 

Although our interaction was brief, it was memorable. Your passion and commitment to service is the epitome of selflessness. Your family has lost a loved one and our Local is grateful to your service. Thank you for your presence.

Yvonne was an energetic, sweet, and feisty spirit. She was a great advocate for everyone she represented, offering wisdom and persistence in getting the right thing done. She offered friendship and comfort to those who needed it most, in what was often the most stressful times in their professional lives. She is, and will be, sorely missed. My condolences to all who knew her, loved her, and who miss her. May the memories bring you comfort on the darkest days. Rest in power, Yvonne. 

As a colleague and partner in our ongoing battles on behalf of our membership versus the State’s labor relations and management,  Yvonne was always a strident, fearless advocate, asking the tough questions and making sure she got a real answer (even if it meant having to repeat her unanswered question). It was a pleasure knowing and working with her, she will indeed be missed.

We are very saddened to hear about Yvonne, she wasn't only a coworker she was a friend. So many stories to share working with her , how she truly cared for others and would do everything in her power to fight for them.

My condolences to Yvonne’s  family and friends. May God be your comfort and peace in this time of loss. Yvonne was such a treasure. She was fierce where it came to protecting and defending people, and loving in consoling them. I will always remember her joyful and passionate spirit. She was so beautiful and so strong. My prayers are with you.

I knew Yvonne professionally, as she was our assigned Business Agent for our Union, AFSCME Local 2620. She was definitely a fireball and did not back down to management when they would behave unfairly toward our employees. She never backed down from a fight and always had our best interest in mind. I learned quite a bit from her, while seeing her in action. Although her physical self is no longer with us, her fighting spirit will always resonate throughout our Local for eternity.

Rest in Paradise, Yvonne. 

My first and last recollections of Yvonne are the same.  She was feisty and feared nothing.   She loved a good cause, a good reason to advocate on someone’s behalf!  It’s hard to imagine that she’s not somewhere doing exactly that!  We’re missing her already.  Gone too soon.  

I am very sorry for your loss. Yvonne had a very sweet spirit and was one of the most vibrant people I have ever had the pleasure of knowing. She was there for me during the most difficult time of my career - holding my hand while I cried, hugging me when we parted ways, and checking in on me afterwards.  She will be missed ~

Yvonne was one of the most generous people I have known. She helped anyone in need. Including me. Her laugh was contagious. Her faith was unfailing. She gave credit for everything in her life, including finances, to her Savior - Jehovah-Jireh. Jesus Christ. Father God. She will be greatly missed by all who knew her. But only for a short while. We will see her again soon. 

Heaven now has another angel.  Doreen’s laughter was so contagious and her smile so vibrant.  She was such a giving person, never hesitating to help someone in need.  RIP sister.
