Zena Volkov, 94, of Fresno, California, passed away on September 16, 2026. She was born on October 2, 1931, in Harbin China. Throughout her long life, Zena carried herself with a steady, faithful spirit—one that quietly shaped her days and strengthened those who had the privilege of knowing her.
In 1956, Zena married Jacob Volkov, who preceded her in death. Together they built a family life rooted in devotion and enduring commitment, marked by the kind of constancy that is remembered long after words fall away.
Zena is survived by her children, Milla Smith, Michael Volkov, Paul Volkov, and Alexandra Longfellow (Gary). She was preceded in death by her husband, Jacob Volkov. Zena is also survived by her eight grandchildren and eight great grandchildren.
Her memory will be held with deep respect and lasting gratitude by all who loved her.
