Allison Kate McLain, age 13, of Frisco, Texas passed away on Wednesday, March 31, 2021. Allison was born May 16, 2007 in Lewisville, TX to her loving parents Clifton and Sarah McLain and was the perfect big sister to her brothers Luke and Levi.

Allison was a, feisty, bright and youthful "girly-girl." Her perfect day was spent outside at the park, feeling the sunshine on her face, and watching the butterflies. She loved nail polish, mermaids, listening to music, going to school and roller-skating.

A Celebration of Life memorial service for Allison will be held Friday, April 16, 2021 from 1:00 PM to 3:00 PM at Stonebriar Funeral Home and Cremation Services, 10375 Preston Road, Frisco, TX 75033.

Fond memories and expressions of sympathy may be shared at www.stonebriarfh.com for the McLain family.

I had the pleasure of being Alli’s night nurse for the last 4 years. She had me hooked day one. Her and I developed a rhythm at night no one else could duplicate. I’m going to miss her so very much. She wrapped herself around my heart and that’s where she will stay. Be free sweet girl! You’re my shooting star 💕💜

It was a struggle for me to pick just one memory of my Sweet Baby Girl. The most memorable where when we Southern Girls baked together on Sunday afternoons. She started out on a stand mixer and I soon realized a hand mixer was going to give her the ability to use a mixer so like a true Southern Grandma only the best would do. Oh Yes a Lime green Kitchen Aid unfortunately they didn't make hand mixers in Alli's favorite color purple. As you can see only Southern Girls wear their pearls with their aprons when baking. She allowed her brothers to be the taste testers but don't touch her mixer so when the brothers wanted to join in she would be upset that they were getting a turn. I explained to her just give them a turn and they will lose interest which Luke did but not Levi he still loves to bake. Love and miss you Grandma

Alli was our sweet Princess and our sassy Queen Bee. I know the tears for continuing our earthly journey without her don’t compare to her never-ending jubilation in Heaven. Alli finished well and we were so fortunate to have been a part of her life. What a comfort that she took me, as her current teacher, into eternity. In life, we were touched by an angel. In her passing, we are guarded by an angel.

Love, hugs, and blessings to you (Clifton, Sarah, Luke, and Levi).

When I think of the McLain family, I think of love, commitment, and advocacy. Having known Sarah for the last 5+ years and seeing her devotion to Allie and the boys, I am reminded of God’s perfect love. Allie, you have been a beautiful inspiration to us all. I hope your heavenly room is full of music, dancing, and all the girly things!

I had the great pleasure of being Alli's music therapist from 2015-2019 with Frisco ISD. I know we are not supposed to have favorites, but the connection we had through music was something special. I looked forward to my sessions with Alli every week where we'd spend time singing songs like Firework by Katy Perry, True Colors by Cyndi Lauper, Count on Me by Bruno Mars, and anything by Taylor Swift. Alli always loved helping me strum the guitar! I will never forget her sweet spirit and I am beyond thankful for the time I got to work with Alli. Sending so much love to the McLain family and everyone that was lucky enough to know this sweet girl.

We can’t believe it’s been thirteen years since her fundraiser where we got to meet your precious “baby girl”! Sorry we can’t make her memorial but know you are all in our thoughts and prayers. (Our Dad’s birthday was on April 16) Love ya, Bill, Jeri and Pat
