

Andrew Duncan Hunsicker, age 80, of Frisco, Texas, passed away on January 24, 2026. He was born on January 8, 1946, in Kansas City, Missouri, to Norma and Henry Hunsicker. Andrew was the youngest of four brothers, preceded in death by Dave and John, and survived by his brother Steve.
Andrew graduated from Parma High School and earned his undergraduate degree from Cleveland State University, followed by a Master’s Degree from Baldwin Wallace University. He proudly served his country as a First Lieutenant in the 101st Airborne Division, completing a tour of duty in Vietnam. During his service, he was awarded the Bronze Star, the Air Medal, and the Army Commendation Medal. Following his military service, Andrew built a successful career as a Business Navigator and Controller for several companies before retiring. In high school, he played football and was distinguished in track. Throughout his life, he enjoyed golf and fishing and especially loved traveling with his family. Hawaii held a special place in his heart as his favorite destination.
Andrew was a man of Christian faith, which guided his life and values and remained a steady source of strength and comfort to him and his family.
Andrew is survived by his beloved wife, Susan Hunsicker (Bohmer); his children, Matthew
Hunsicker and daughter-in-law Jennifer Hunsicker, Marlene Hunsicker, Aaron Hunsicker and daughter-in-law Tara Hunsicker, Gabe Hunsicker and daughter-in-law Meredith Hunsicker, and Amanda Myers and son-in-law Patrick Myers. He is also survived by his grandchildren, Chance Hunsicker and spouse Andrea Hunsicker, Haven Hunsicker, Krimsyn Hunsicker, George Henry Hunsicker, Theodore Hunsicker, Aidan Hunsicker, Avery Hunsicker, Gavin Hunsicker, and Addison Hunsicker; and his great-grandchild, Bennett Hunsicker.
A Memorial Service will take place at Stonebriar Funeral Home on February 11, 2026. Visitation will begin at 10:00 a.m., followed by the Memorial Service at 11:00 a.m. Andrew’s final resting place will be at the DFW National Cemetery in Dallas, Texas.
