Anita Marie Foskey was born on May 13, 1959 in Cleveland, Ohio, to William & Ann Soros Casciato. She was one of three children. Anita was a kind girl who grew up loving nature, and the wildlife in it. This would carry throughout her life. She attended Notre Dame Academy High School in Chardon,Ohio, and went on to attend Kent State University.
Anita married John Foskey, also from Willoughby Ohio, in May of 1986. They had two sons, John & Tyler. Shortly after the birth of the first son, Johnny, they moved to Frisco, Texas. These two boys were everything to her. She would take them to feed the ducks at nearby lakes, or just enjoy being outside or amongst animals with them. In order to help provide for her family, she worked at Nationwide Insurance for over 20 years, where she made many friends. She and her family are members of St. Francis Catholic Church in Frisco, Texas.
Anita was a great, loving mother who raised two great children. She was known far and wide for her holiday cookies which she brought to work and shared with everyone. Anita’s specialty with baking was exceeded only by her gift of growing things and nurturing all of God’s little creatures that chose to visit her backyard. She loved to decorate and celebrate the holidays with her family and friends. Anita had a way of winning hearts with her smile and good nature. She truly valued the friendships that came from living in a close knit community, and made friends from grade school to present who she loved and respected. Anita had a God given gift of trying to help and heal all who she loved and cared for. She knew how to make everyone feel loved and appreciated. Family was her life. She will be missed tremendously.
On Friday, March 6, 2015, Anita Marie Foskey was called Home to be with her Lord & Savior. She was greeted in Heaven by her parents, William & Ann Casciato.
