Barbara was a well-loved teacher for Plano ISD for over 26 years, where she adored all her students. She enjoyed watching movies and dinner with friends, Barbara loved watching football, especially when it was the Dallas Cowboys or the Florida Gators and was a proud alumni of University of Florida! Nothing gave her more joy than being with her family.
Barbara is preceded in death by her father, Herbert Dufresne, her mother Beatrice Dufresne, and her brother William (Billy) Dufresne.
She is survived by her daughter, Jennifer and husband Darren Sheldon; her son, John and wife Liz Turbidy; Grandchildren, Ashley, Jack, Alex, Noel, and Jackie Sheldon and Jacob and Addison Turbidy; sister, Judy and husband Bruce Krasker; niece, Paige Hintlian and husband Jud; and great nieces Brooke and Holly Hintlian.
