Betty P. Kosanovich

on June. 13, 2022 in Frisco, Texas from an extended illness. She was 92.

Mrs. Kosanovich was born July 17, 1929 in Vintondale, PA to Dusan and Dorothy Puskar.

She graduated from Hubbard High School, Hubbard, Ohio in 1947 and was active in various clubs and organizations.

On June 11, 1950 she married Robert J. Kosanovich of Greenville, PA.

They resided in Greenville until then moved to Texas in 2013 to be closer to their immediate family.

Betty began her career as a lunchroom supervisor at West Side School in Greenville, PA. Hard work and dedication to the nutritional needs of children and young adults became a vital interest to Betty. She worked as a supervisor at Thiel College then eventually retired in 1995 as Food Service Director in the Greenville and Jamestown School Districts.

As a devoted mother and wife, Betty was a member of St. George Eastern Orthodox Church in Hermitage, PA while living in Greenville. She attended Stonebriar Community Church in Texas.

She is survived by her son, Daniel and daughter, Dorinda Weaver and her husband David, all of Frisco, Texas, sisters Ruby Carroll of Boardman, Ohio, Honey Vuich of Hermitage PA and several nieces and nephews.

Her mother, father, sister Mary and brother Mylan preceded her in death.

Betty will lay in rest next to her husband in a graveside service at Dallas Fort Worth National Cemetery on June 28, 2022 at 11:00 AM where Pastor Steve Fischer of Stonebriar Community Church will officiate.

Betty, Mom, Wife, Sister, Aunt and Friend…..She will be forever loved and remembered.

A committal service for Betty will be held Tuesday, June 28, 2022 at 11:00 AM at Dallas Fort Worth National Cemetery, 2000 Mountain Creek Pkwy, Dallas, TX 75211.
