Beulah Esther Anderson (née Fargo) passed peacefully into the presence of her Lord on March 14, 2026, at the age of 88. A resident of Prosper, Texas since 2006, she died of natural causes surrounded by the love of family and the assurance of her faith.
Beulah was born on April 25, 1937, on a farm near Gayville, South Dakota. The first of six children—five sisters and one brother—she grew up in a close-knit rural family where hard work, faith, and music shaped her early years. She carried those values with her throughout her life.
A gifted student and natural leader, Beulah graduated as the Valedictorian of her high school class. During her school years she was also chosen as Homecoming Queen and selected as a representative to attend South Dakota’s Girls State. Her academic excellence and love for music continued into college, where she graduated with a Bachelor’s degree with honors in 1959 as a music major.
Shortly after graduation, she married the love of her life, Donald Anderson. Together they shared 66 devoted years of marriage, building a life centered on faith, family, and service to others.
Music was one of Beulah’s great gifts. Blessed with a beautiful voice and perfect pitch, she could play piano and organ by ear as easily as she could read music. She used these talents generously—teaching music, playing for church services, and performing at many special events. For those who knew her, music was one of the many ways she expressed both her creativity and her deep love for the Lord.
Beulah loved Jesus deeply and lived out her faith daily. Scripture filled her heart and guided her life, and she shared that faith through kindness, encouragement, and quiet strength. Her family takes great comfort in knowing she is now in her heavenly home with Him.
She is survived by her beloved husband of 66 years, Donald Anderson; her son Dave Anderson of Tulsa, Oklahoma and his wife Karen, and their children Michael (wife Jacquelyn), Daniel (wife Courtney), Jonathan, Sarah, Matthew, Samuel, and Joshua Anderson; and her daughter Susan Galbraith of Prosper, Texas and her husband John Galbraith, and their daughters Megan Olson (husband Timothy) and Katelyn Galbraith of Riyadh, Saudi Arabia.
Beulah was also blessed with four great-grandchildren: Noah and Adelyn Olson, Eden Anderson, and James Anderson.
She is lovingly remembered by her sisters Mary (Fargo) Jensen (husband Nels Jensen, deceased) of Gayville, South Dakota, Eunice (Fargo) Montgomery (husbands Dale Montgomery and Russell Hanson, both deceased) of Minneapolis, MN, Lois (Fargo) Solberg of Volin, South Dakota (husband Alex Solberg), and Judi (Fargo) Ingalls of Phoenix, Arizona (husband Tom Ingalls, deceased). She was preceded in death by her brother John Fargo and is remembered with love by his then wife Charlyn Fargo Ware.
Beulah cherished her many nieces and nephews and took great joy in staying connected with her extended family throughout the years.
Those who knew Beulah will remember her gentle spirit, her musical gifts, her steadfast faith, and her deep devotion to her family. Her life was one of grace, generosity, and quiet strength.
She leaves behind a legacy of love and faith that will continue to inspire all who knew her.
A Celebration of Life Memorial Service will be held on Sunday, March 29, 2026, at 1:00 p.m. at Stonebriar Funeral Home, located at 10375 Preston Road, Frisco, Texas 75033.
Her family rejoices in the promise that she is now at peace, welcomed into her heavenly home.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in her honor to The Gideons through the Gideon Card and Bible donation at gideons.org
