Billy Lee Foreman, lovingly known to most as “Bill,” passed away on April 11, 2026, leaving behind a legacy of service, mentorship, and unwavering kindness. A devoted husband, father, grandfather, son, brother, and friend, Bill lived a life centered on connection, growth, and giving back to others.
Born June 12, 1960, with a natural curiosity and drive, Bill graduated in 1978 from C.E. King High School in Houston, Texas. During his school years, he was deeply involved in both academics and extracurricular activities, playing football and participating in drama, debate, and speech. His talent and passion for communication earned him a speech scholarship to Sam Houston State University, setting the stage for a lifetime of inspiring others.
Bill’s path ultimately led him to his calling in the practice and teaching of yoga. Known widely as “Yoga Bill,” he dedicated himself to the wellness of mind and body, sharing his knowledge with individuals and organizations alike. His work reached many, including Capital One, Goldman Sachs, Southern Methodist University, Blue Cross Blue Shield, Globe Life, and numerous others. Through his teaching, he brought calm, strength, and clarity to those around him.
A man of deep values and service, Bill was an active and respected member of the Masonic community, participating in three Texas lodges. His commitment and leadership earned him the distinctions of Master Mason and Worshipful Master, as well as the prestigious Golden Trowel Award from both the Celina and Lebanon Lodges. He was also a proud member of the Scottish Rite.
Bill’s generosity extended far beyond his professional and fraternal life. He had a true servant’s heart, mentoring young men through Big Brothers Big Sisters of America, organizing charitable events and scholarship funds, and offering help wherever it was needed. To Bill, no act of kindness was too small, and no effort to support others was ever too great.
He is survived by his beloved wife of 46 years, Denise Foreman; his daughter, Stephanie Norman, and her husband Brandon Norman; and his cherished grandson, Weston Norman. He is also survived by his mother, Nancy Foreman; his brother, Richard Foreman; and his loyal companion, Tilly. Bill was preceded in death by his father, Raymond Foreman, and his sister, Rebecca Foreman.
A Celebration of Life will be held on Saturday, May 2, 2026, from 2:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m., with words of remembrance beginning at 2:30 p.m., at The Tribute Clubhouse, 1000 Lebanon Road, The Colony, Texas 75056.
