Brandi was born in Grand Prairie, Texas on July 28, 1970 to her parents, Kim Smalling & Stephen Teer. She grew up in various places around Texas including Arlington, and Coppell. She was an only child, but always had her animal friends to keep her company. At one time she had horses, dogs, cats, sheep, and any other critter that might visit her farm house. However, her protector was her Chow dog, Rufus. Brandi was a beautiful child; full of life, love and sweetness. Most times she was the center of attention, especially when she would sing one of her favorite songs, Delta Dawn. Her best of times was spent at the beach and with family and friends. She truly enjoyed dancing, singing, family time playing cards and board games, fishing, hiking, snow skiing and playing her clarinet.

Brandi graduated high school in Cedar Hill, and she knew that her calling was to be a nurse and help people. She worked full time, went to school at night, and after 6 years earned her Bachelor of Science degree from Baylor University. Her dedication was inspiring! She would go on to work for Baylor University Medical Center in the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit.

In 1995, she met the love of her life, Brett Whitestone and they were married 22 years. During that time, they had two amazing children, Brianna and Braden. Brandi knew her most important job was to be a mother and nurse to her children, so, she decided to become a stay at home Mom. Brandi had a servant heart, if anyone needed help, she was right there. She would do anything she could for people. And, she was a wonderful cook! Thanksgivings at her house included dancing and singing to classical rock. She had a quirky sense of humor that kept everyone laughing. She was our JOY!

Brandi was preceded in death by her Father, Stephen Teer; Grandparents, Janelle Howard, James Edward & Helen Teer; and Cousin, Jeremy Poradek.

She is survived by her loving husband Brett; 2 children: Brianna and Braden; Mother, Kim Smalling and her husband Mike Judlin; Grandparents, Clell and Mary Smalling; 5 Aunts, Michele Poradek, Debbie Smalling- Whatley, Melanie Price Compton, Allisa Price Cox, and Trudy Teer-Balinbin; Uncle Mike Smalling; Cousins, Tasha Thompson, Jade Johnson, Chuck Luckert, Cameron Jones, Caleb Smalling and Erin Snyder; Stepsister Blake Judlin and her daughter Alexis; Stepbrother Chris Judlin and his sons Drew and Treat; In-laws, Terry and Pam Whitestone, Cassie Rice, Cherie Balousek and Deanna Whitestone; Nephew, Cody Balousek; Niece, Carly Balousek; Dear Friend Brandi Young and her husband Marty; and many second cousins and friends.

Brandi smiles down on us from Heaven today. Memorial Service will be held at Stonebriar Funeral Home in Frisco on January 12, 2019 at 1:00 P.M.

My precious Brandi,

We just completed the celebration of your life! It was so beautiful and a wonderful tribute to you. You would have been so proud of Brianna and Brett. Brianna spoke lovingly about how you always took care of her and Braden, how proud she was to have such a strong committed, role model and Mother. Brett told the cutest story and had people laughing about your "safety" sign when you were just married and living in a one bedroom apt. There was a tree of life, and seeds of love tree. It could not have been more perfect! Braden was such a fine young man at the service. Your mother was beautiful and everyone shared the love we had for you! You have always been my angel on earth....Now you are my heavenly angel. I love you! Aunt Michele
