Carlos Ray Cordero was born on December 21st, 1959, to the union of Maria Molina Cordero (September 25th, 1923- September 4th, 2003), and Ralph G. Cordero (July 7th, 1923- January 4th, 1998) in Bryan, Texas. Carlos Ray Cordero departed this life on Friday, August 10th, 2018 peacefully surrounded by his loved ones in Frisco, Texas.
Carlos Cordero graduated from Bryan High School in Bryan, Texas in 1978. He was so proud he was able to attend his 40th High School Class Reunion this past July. Carlos received his Bachelor’s in Business Administration at The University of Texas A&M in College Station, Texas in 1983. He always wanted to be remembered as a Fighting Aggie until the end – Gig Em!
On May 1st, 1993 he married Minal Mehta Cordero. Their union was blessed with three beautiful daughters: Kalindi Corina Cordero (age 20), Karishma Kristal Cordero (age 17), and Kaveri Maria Cordero (age 13).
Carlos and his family lived in Frisco, Texas for 18 years. Carlos raised all three of his daughters as Catholics. The family became members of St. Francis of Assisi Catholic Church and all three daughters were baptized on May 28th, 2016.
Carlos’s career path involved multiple job roles starting with INROADS where Carlos served as the Managing Director. He also worked at Chase Bank and devoted his free time to serve on The Hispanic Chamber of Commerce. His most recent job was being a District Manager for Farmers Insurance. Carlos actively played a huge part as a member in his church community at St. Francis of Assisi Catholic Church.
Carlos spent time being the best Dad in the world. He devoted his life to his children, nieces, and nephew. Carlos also spent the majority of his life serving as an active caregiver to his children and loved attending their sports games, school events, and putting his children and wife first always.
Many family members have preceded him in death: Parents, Maria Molina Cordero & Ralph G. Cordero; sister, Gloria Cordero; and brothers, Ralph Junior Cordero and Sammy Cordero.
He leaves to cherish his memories: wife, Minal Cordero; daughters, Kalindi, Karishma, and Kaveri; sisters, Terri Cordero and Janie Cordero Muzny; father in-law, Rajnikant Mehta; mother in-law, Hemlata Mehta; sister in-laws, Sonal Patel and Rupal Turner; brother in-law, Tushar Patel; nieces, Kishori Turner, Ishani Patel, Marissa Garcia, and Elissa Garcia; and nephew Shivam Patel and host of relatives and friends.
