Cathy grew up in Salt Lake City, and Los Angeles, she loved the ocean and Newport Beach. Cathy showed that she loved others more than herself. She raised and loved two children, Melissa and Jayson, and had four grandchildren; Caleb, Braden, Blake, and Destiny. She was generous and kind; so much so, that she even donated a kidney to her mother.
Cathy was a gifted dancer, and used her mastery of body to create comical mimes that made everyone laugh. She worked for Unisys as a materials requirements analyst for over 20 years. Cathy loved comedy, and philosophy, especially “The Ethics” by Spinoza. Cathy is preceded in death by her mother Jill Allen.
Cathy is survived by her husband Michael, of McKinney, Texas, her daughter Melissa Parish (husband Brian) of Atlanta, Georgia, her son Jayson Workman (his wife Laura) of Holly Springs, North Carolina, and her sister Staci Allen of Salt Lake City and lastly her grandchildren; Caleb, Braden, Blake, and Destiny [who she adored].
Cathy was loved while she was here with us on earth, and we will continue to love her through time and all eternity.
