December 24, 1952 – July 21, 2025
Charles Anthony Jordan, 72, of Frisco, Texas, passed away peacefully on July 21, 2025, at Baylor Scott & White Medical Center in McKinney, Texas. Born in Galveston, Texas, Charles lived a rich and meaningful life — defined by love, loyalty, laughter, and an unstoppable zest for living.
Charles never met a stranger. He greeted everyone with a warm hello, a bright smile, and the unmistakable charm of a true Southern gentleman. His presence was larger than life, and he lit up every room he entered. He was generous, kind-hearted, and deeply devoted to his family, friends, and faith.
He shared a remarkable life with his beloved wife, Linda Jordan, his partner in love and every road trip. Together, they embodied the very best of joy, perseverance, and adventure. Charles would not be denied the opportunity for a new experience — especially with his beautiful travel mate by his side. From cruises to outdoor excursions, their journey was filled with laughter, discovery, and unwavering love.
Charles was a proud and devoted family man who loved deeply and gave generously. He found immeasurable joy in his children and grandchildren and was beyond proud of the lives they’ve built. He was an excellent friend — steadfast in good times and loyal through life’s toughest moments. If Charles was in your corner, you had someone who would stand by you no matter what.
He never hesitated to share his opinion — whether you asked for it or not — but he did so with passion, honesty, and heart. His voice, his laugh, and his bold perspective will never be forgotten.
An outstanding cook and host, Charles blessed many tables with his delicious dishes and soulful desserts. His peach cobbler and pecan pie were legendary, and those familiar flavors will be forever missed by those lucky enough to enjoy them.
A hardworking, fair, and loyal man, Charles was an asset to his family and to every organization he was part of. He believed in doing things the right way and giving his best in all things. His character was strong, his love sincere, and his impact immeasurable.
Charles also had an unapologetic, and some might say unhealthy, love for the Green Bay Packers. During football season, he could be found yelling at the TV and talking trash with the best of them, all while wrapped in green and gold.
Charles fought valiantly — not just in his final days, but throughout life. He lived fully and loved fiercely. His legacy will live on in the stories we share, the values he instilled, and the love he gave so freely.
He is survived by his devoted wife, Linda Jordan; children, Dawn Jordan, Patrick Jordan, Kenneth Jackson, and Danielle Richardson; grandchildren, Shanna, Lamarcus, Courtney, Princess, Precious, Jeremiah, Natalie, Kaiel, Kymberlynn, Kailynn, Taylor; and great-grandchildren Kai, Kieran, Jayce, Kymora, and Aiden. He is also survived by his loving brother, Melvin Randle, and a host of extended family — including cousins, nieces, nephews, and many cherished friends.
In honor of Charles, take a trip, share a meal with loved ones, cheer loudly for your team, and most of all — say hello to someone new. He would’ve wanted it that way.
