Christopher Lyn Mullen (Chris) died in a motorcycle accident April 17, 2026, in Fort Worth, Texas. He was born on September 19, 1989, in Wichita, Kansas. Chris graduated from Frisco High School in 2008, where he was Varsity Soccer Team Captain. He earned a Bachelor of General Studies from Texas Christian University and Master of Science in Financial Planning from Texas Tech University.
Chris was a caring and thoughtful man— he loved his family whole-heartedly and carried genuine concern for others, people and animals alike. Beneath his fire was a sweet and gentle spirit, one that showed up in quiet acts of kindness, in the way he paid attention to details, and how intentionally he moved through the world.
He approached life with intensity and purpose, giving 1,000 percent to anything he committed to. Work mattered—not just as a responsibility, but as a reflection of his values. He pulled his own weight, no matter how difficult the job, and he always strove to better himself along the way.
Chris viewed the world in a unique way —affectionately known as “Chris Logic” —a sharp eye, a clever and unexpected sense of humor, and a perspective that made people pause, laugh, and think. He was unique, a little quirky, and undeniably cool.
Chris was a global citizen, with interests that reflected his layered personality, eclectic and curious. He followed international soccer and basketball, F1racing, music, documentaries, and television with enthusiasm and depth. Soccer was his favorite sport, he played for over 20 years. He was a loyal teammate, finding joy in shared effort, camaraderie, and belonging.
He loved to cook. He gravitated toward interests—and people—with layers, complexity, and substance. He had a strong appreciation for balance and simplicity. His aesthetic reflected this: neat, organized, artistic, and thoughtfully curated. He preferred simplicity, elegance, and class—never excessive, always intentional.
Among his many joys were scuba diving, where he was known as the “best scuba buddy, ever”—steady, present, and fully engaged. He also shared a special affection for his adopted Fahlo friend, Valentina the Hammerhead Shark; small but meaningful reflections of his personality and sense of humor.
He was deeply sentimental. The people who came before him and who were with him mattered, and he carried that sense of connection and legacy with him. More than anything, Chris wanted to be a father.
He is survived by his father, Mike Mullen; his mother, Cyndi Mullen; his sister, Kendall Mullen; and his canine companion, Rosie, who will carry forward his memory with love.
