Chris was born January 25, 1994, in Plano, Texas, to Brad and Stephanie Nance. He grew up in Frisco, graduated from Wakeland High School in 2012, and went on to study engineering at Texas Tech University.
He started working at 13, running children's birthday parties — a job he took seriously enough that it eventually led to a management position. In recent years, he worked as an IT consultant and administrator.
Chris loved fast cars, a good steak, and action movies. Most of all, he loved dogs, and he never passed up the chance to pet one.
He is survived by his parents, Brad and Stephanie Nance, his brother, Trevor Nance, his grandmother, Joyce Nance and many aunts, uncles and cousins.

On Friday, September 4th, a Rosary will be held at 1:00 PM, followed by visitation at 2:00 PM.
The Celebration of Life service will begin at 3:00 PM.
Family and friends are invited to join us for a reception with refreshments following the service.
All services on the 4th will be held at Stonebriar Funeral Home 10375 Preston Road. Frisco, Texas 75033
Burial will follow on Saturday, September 5, at 10:00 a.m. in the Serenity Garden at Restland Memorial Park, 13005 Greenville Avenue, Dallas, Texas 75243.
In lieu of flowers, the family welcomes donations to Operation Kindness in Carrollton, Texas, in Chris's memory.
