With profound sadness, the Peabody, Kandakai, Coleman and Nimley families announce the peaceful homegoing of their mother, grandmother, sister, aunt, cousin, and friend Mrs. Comfort Gloria Kandakai Peabody (April 28, 1950 – December 5, 2025).
This sad event occurred on Friday, December 5, 2025 at Baylor Scott & White Centennial Hospital in Frisco, Texas, USA.
Mrs. Comfort Peabody was predeceased by her husband S.T. Eugene Peabody, her parents Alpha and Sarah Kandakai, her siblings Rebecca Johnson, Dabba Kandakai and Francis Kandakai.
She is survived by her children Zahnga, Daiyouga (Jamelia), Sayiga, and grandchildren Ava, Dylan and Adley.
Funeral service will take place on Saturday, January 10, 2026, 10AM CST at St. Paul’s Episcopal Church, 420 South Country Rd 80, Prosper, TX 75078.
