Dan graduated from Ardmore High School in 1971 and later earned two Bachelor's degrees. He graduated from Oklahoma State University with a Bachelor's degree in Business and from Central State University in Edmond, OK with a Bachelor's degree in Accounting. Dan worked as an accountant for over 30 years. He enjoyed listening to live music, especially rock and roll and the blues. He also enjoyed watching college football and any genre movie.
He is preceded in death by his parents, Henry and Mary Walters.
Dan is survived by his daughter, Stephanie Wilcox and her husband, Ryan of Frisco, TX; brother, Victor Walters of Gainesville, TX; and grandchildren, Troy Wilcox and Trevor Wilcox of Frisco, TX.
