

Deborah Perchan LaMarr, aged 73, of Keller Texas, passed away on November 09, 2025, in McKinney Texas. Deborah was born to George Perchan and Halovee Perchan on November 19, 1951, in Pine Bluff, Arkansas. She is survived by her daughter, Kristen LaMarr Glasser and grandson Isaiah Jesse Glasser of Colorado Springs, Colorado. Other survivors include her sisters, Susan Kennedy of McKinney Texas and Georgia Burns of Las Vegas, Nevada. Her surviving nieces and nephews are Georgia Leigh Cotton and husband, Joseph Cotton and their sons, Liam and Reed Cotton. Katherine Horn and husband Ethan Horn and their children, Kennedy and Harrison. Jill Burns, Brett Burns and Leslie Burns Cha and spouse Helen Cha.
Deborah grew up in Pine Bluff, Arkansas playing tennis, life guarding, swimming and riding horses. She attended the University of Arkansas where she earned a Bachelor of Science Degree in Education. While teaching English, Math and Science she earned her Master of Education Degree with certification in Mid-Management and Supervision from Texas Woman’s University.
Deborah served the Keller Texas School District in many capacities. She was a teacher, then Assistant Principal and lastly Principal of Keller Middle School for nine years. Deborah was loved and respected by students, teachers, parents and fellow school administrators.
Other survivors are Aunt Nita Luckie and cousins, Elba Jane Sanders, Mary Ann Dumond, Jane Yahada, David Hogue, Gus Hogue, Glenn Davidson, Scott Porter, Lee Porter, William Davidson, Melanie Dahl, Carol Beth Jones, Glenn Blythe and Carl Blythe. Her stepchildren are Michelle Hays (Ricky), Nicholle Ackel and their families. Michelle’s children and grandchildren are David James, Maranda Hays and Marissa Baker (Tad). Jesse and Abigail James, Navy Baker, Nicollas and Emilie Ackel. Preceded in death are her parents George and Halovee Perchan, her sister Beverly Perchan and great nephew Lukas Adam Cotton.
At the University of Arkansas, Deborah was active in the Kappa Kappa Gamma Sorority. She held many offices in Kappa Kappa Gamma and played guitar with the Kappa Gamma Pickers.
Deborah had a full and meaningful life. She will be sorely missed by her family and many friends.
Deborah Perchan LaMarr Memorial Service is held at The Bowden Chapel, 1775 Keller Pkwy, Keller, TX 76248. Tuesday, November 18th @ 2:00 reception to follow.
