Delbert Lee Coleman

Delbert Lee Coleman, 80, of Little Elm, Texas, passed away on January 19, 2023. He was born in Palmyra, Missouri on July 3, 1942. Delbert graduated from Palmyra High School. He married the love of his life Janette Y. Coleman on January 12, 1964. Delbert entered the United States Air Force on January 11, 1963 and proudly served until he retired on September 30, 1987. Delbert had a love for many things in life. Aside from the quality time spent with family, his hobbies included going fishing, golfing, hunting, traveling and doing yard work. Delbert had a genuine heart- he never met a stranger. He also had a great sense of humor that kept people laughing and smiling. We will always remember his saying "Get me a beer". Delbert is survived by his loving wife of 59 years, Janette Coleman; as well as his children Carmen Coleman, Kirt Coleman (Rosalind) , and Carlos Coleman (Beverlyn) ; Grandchildren Deandre Coleman (Nakia), Roamell Bradley, Bryson Coleman, Tyree Coleman, Marcus Coleman, Darrius Coleman, Wesley Cruz and Lorelai Dixon; Great Grandchildren Tamaya Stone, Joshua Hayes, Rickey Stone, Jayceon Lewis, Malia Coleman, Xain Coleman, Favorite niece- Denise “Hollywood” Dade.
