Dianna Lynn Saraceni passed from this life on to her eternal home on September 24, 2018 in Plano, Texas. Dianna was born on February 27, 1956 to her parents, Robert Glassey and Audrey Larson Glassey in the Scripps Hospital in La Jolla, California. She came from a small family with Dianna being the youngest child to her step-sister Claudia. Early on, they were quite contentious but grew to become great friends.
Dianna grew up in beautiful San Diego, CA. Her mother died at an early time in her life and for several years was raised by her Grandmother, Adah Larson. Some of Dianna’s happiest times were during the many summers traveling around America on buses and trains. Dianna was a free spirit. She was very creative and was an accomplished seamstress. Dianna loved arts and craft projects. She loved to share her passion with her family and friends. She especially loved sharing Pinterest projects with friends. Dianna was devoted to Nicole and William. She was crazy about her Grandson, Robert Orbe Jr.
Dianna met her sweetheart in 1972 at Stephen Watts Kearney High School in San Diego, CA where Nick graduated in 1972 and she graduated two years later. They were married in 1975 and were happily married for 43 years. Dianna was employed in the Mortgage Banking Industry for approximately 40 years. She worked about 30 years with Bank of America as a Loan Underwriter. Dianna had many interests including sewing, painting and anything having to do with arts and crafts. She really enjoyed joining friends at “Painting with a Twist”. Dianna loved the ocean. She loved sitting on a veranda on a cruise ship reading while watching over the water for porpoises and whales. She loved action movies, spy thrillers and “Binge Watching” romance comedies and dramas.
Family and friends that knew Dianna would confirm the most important times in her life were the birth of their daughter, Nicole; the adoption of their son, William and the birth of her grandson, Robert Xavier Orbe Jr.
Dianna was preceded in death by her father, Robert Glassey; her mother, Audrey Glassey and her grandmother, Adah Larson. Her legacy and memory will live on through her beloved husband, Nick Saraceni of Frisco, TX; her daughter, Nicole, and son-in-law Rob Orbe of Aubrey, TX; her son, William Saraceni of Kissimmee, FL; grandson, Robert Orbe Jr; and her favorite dog, Peanut.
Dianna was loved while she was with us here on earth, and will continue to be loved throughout time and all eternity. She will be missed!
