She had a successful IT career at Texas Instruments for over 25 years. She earned her Master of Business Administration from the University of North Texas. She was a world traveler and very artistic. She loved making ceramics, porcelain dolls and beautiful quilts.
She was predeceased by parents, Alex Franklin Suggs & Atranter Louise Strickland Suggs; siblings, Frances Louise Burns, James Davis Suggs & Barbara Jean Suggs; and daughter, Rebecca Carol Roseberry.
Dorothy leaves to cherish her loving memory her husband, Roland Neil Hamilton; children, Joel Rudolf Stanford Jr., Dennis Lee Stanford & Angela Gayle Hagen; brothers, William Edward Suggs & Johnny Franklin Suggs; eleven grandchildren & ten great grandchildren & four great, great grandchildren.
A Celebration of Life Service will be held on Sunday, October 6, 2024, at 1:00PM at Stonebriar Funeral Home in Frisco, Texas.
