Douglas Lee Davis

Douglas Lee Davis, age 74, of McKinney, Texas passed away on March 11, 2023. He was born on March 10, 1949 in Stillwater, Oklahoma to Richard & Mary Frances (Pruett) Davis. He graduated from Houston’s Memorial Senior High School in 1967 and attended Lamar State College of Technology in Beaumont.
On February 19, 1972, he married Carol Ann Eschberger, who survives of the home. He was a construction estimator in Houston and Southern California. In his spare time, Doug enjoyed volunteering at church, sightseeing with his wife, spending time with his grandchildren, cooking, and golf. His family and friends will always remember his unique sense of humor and that he was a faithful husband, father, grandfather, and Christian.
Preceded in death by his parents and sister, Marilyn Nicholson. He is survived by his wife Carol, two sons: Glen (Jennifer) Davis of Dallas and Mark (Elizabeth) Davis of McKinney; three grandchildren: Samuel Davis, Molly Davis, and Emma Davis; brother Rick (Jan) Davis of Houston; stepmother Doris Davis of Denison, Texas; and numerous nephews, nieces, cousins, brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, and stepsiblings.
A funeral service for Douglas will be held Tuesday, March 14, 2023, 3pm, at Frisco Bible Church, 8000 Sanctuary Dr, Frisco, TX 75033. A graveside service will occur Thursday, March 16, 2023, 2:00 PM, at Memorial Oaks Cemetery, 13001 Katy Fwy, Houston, TX 77079.
