

Fernando Quines Estonactoc, 71, passed into eternal life October 24, 2016 after a brave battle with cancer. He was the beloved husband of Regina; loving father of Christopher and Christina; and proud grandfather of Lestadt, Jasmine, Cheyenne, and Raiden.
Fernando Quines Estonactoc was born in Agoo La Union Phillipines on November 5, 1944. He graduated Quirino Elementary School and Quirino High School then went on to graduate at the Phillipines National University with an Architectural degree in 1968. While working as a young driven architect on the island of Guam, he met Regina who became the love of his life.
Fernando and Regina got married in Yona, Guam at St. Francis Catholic Church on June 30, 1972, then moved to California with their new baby boy Christopher. On December 24, 1984, they were blessed with their second child Christina.
Fernando worked for JC Penney’s as an architect for 34 years. Before retiring in 2008, his family relocated to Texas to be closer to the corporate office.
In retirement, Fernando found more ways to prove his Catholic faith. First he ushered at Holy Cross Catholic Church in The Colony, then he found himself volunteering more time in the Knights of Columbus. His dedication warranted a position as Grand Knight for two terms as well as Navigator for two more, establishing him as a 4th degree Knights of Columbus member.
He will be laid to rest at Little Elm Cemetery on Monday October 31, 2016. Fernando was loved throughout time and eternity. He will continue to be remembered through his wife Regina and his children and grandchildren.
