Gail Marie Curran, 70, was born December 20, 1950 in Queens, New York, to Virginia and William Johnston. She passed away March 19, 2021 in Frisco, Texas. Gail graduated from Ramapo College of New Jersey with a Bachelor of Science in Marketing.
Gail was the beloved wife of James M. Curran for 48 years. She is survived by her dear sisters Deborah Parker and Dawn Johnston. Gail was also the loving mother of Sean Curran (wife Elana) and Ryan Curran (wife Tracy) and a devoted grandmother of her five wonderful grandsons, Miles, Emmett, James, Andrew and Matthew.
Gail was born with a flair for fashion and terrific sense of style. She established and successfully ran several businesses in the clothing and jewelry manufacturing industry as well as loved making custom jewelry pieces for her friends and family. Beyond that, she was an awarded sales professional and talented singer. She would always audition with the song, “Wind Beneath My Wings” by Bette Midler, which would bring the house down every time. Her loving heart will be missed by many every single day.
Even in her later years, Gail was known as a kind and loving friend to all those around her. Given the current COVID-19 travel restrictions, a memorial will be held at a later date. If desired, family and friends may make a memorial contribution in her honor to the UCSF Memory and Aging Center at https://makeagift.ucsf.edu/site/SPageServer?pagename=A1_API_GeneralGivingForm&Primary=Neuroscience&Other=Frontotemporal%20Dementia%20(B1566
