With profound love and gratitude for a life beautifully lived, we announce the passing of Inez Watson, who entered into eternal rest on July 11, 2026, in Frisco, Texas, at the age of 95.
Inez was born on October 6, 1930, in Okemah, Oklahoma, to her loving parents, Lois and Sylvester Wiles. She carried with her the values of kindness, perseverance, and generosity throughout her remarkable life.
She married the love of her life, Leon James Watson, in Yuma, Arizona, beginning a wonderful partnership that lasted 46 years until Leon's passing on October 25, 1996, in Sherman, Texas.
Together they built not only a successful business but also a life rich with adventure, family, and treasured memories. They owned and operated furniture and antique stores in Yuma, Arizona, and Las Vegas, Nevada, where they shared their passion for beautiful and unique treasures with countless customers and friends.
Inez had an adventurous spirit and a gift for making friends wherever life took her. She loved traveling throughout the United States, exploring nearly every corner of the country, searching for antiques, and meeting people whose lives she touched with her warm smile and genuine kindness.
Above all else, Inez's greatest joy was her family. She was a loving and devoted mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother whose unwavering love, gentle guidance, and caring heart created a legacy that will continue for generations. Her family was the center of her world, and she found immeasurable happiness in watching it grow.
She is lovingly survived by her children, Debbi Watson MacCallum and her husband Mark MacCallum; her stepson, Larry Watson; and her cherished grandchildren, Trina Watson DeCastro, Kristen Watson Heiserman, Ryan Watson Stephens, Estee Watson Gwerder, Brittney Watson Lonnquist, Chance Watson, Ashley Watson Brumbelow, and Holly Watson Ruiz. She also leaves behind many beloved great-grandchildren, whose lives were enriched by her love, as well as her dear nieces, Vicki Hall and Mary Jo Capps, along with many extended family members and treasured friends.
Though our hearts are heavy with her absence, we find comfort in knowing that Inez has been reunited with her beloved Leon and sons William ( Bill ) Dodson , Leon James ( Jim ) Watson II and stepson Garry Watson. Her legacy of love, generosity, strength, and joyful living will remain forever in the hearts of all who were blessed to know her.
She will be deeply missed, lovingly remembered, and forever cherished.
