Jake Royer

Jake graduated from Oral Roberts University with a BS in Marketing in 2023. At ORU, he worked his way up to Senior Chaplain to oversee the discipleship. He led the El Salvador mission trip and co-led the Dominican Republic mission trip, as well as many local out reaches. Post graduation, Jake started his own media company and worked in Marketing.

Jake loved Jesus with all his heart and his life mission was to share that love and make disciples. Jake had an infectious smile, positive attitude, and humble spirit, which would naturally gravitate people towards him. Jake embodied the spirit of Christ and is an example of what it is to love like Jesus. His time here was far too short, but he finished the race and is living the abundant life with Jesus in heaven. His faith, love, and his light for Jesus will live on in the hearts of those he touched. John 10:10 tells us that “Jesus has come to give us life, and life more abundantly.”

Jake was a wonderful son and loving brother. He is survived by his father Kenneth, mother Rebecca, and sister Liliana. Grandmother Lillie Royer and Angela Nunez, his loving extended family and friends.

The Celebration of Life service will be on Wednesday, September 24 at 2 PM at City On A Hill located at 1100 E Frontier Pkwy, Prosper, TX 75078.

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made in Jake’s memory to the City On A Hill Kingdom Builders Fund. This fund will be used for local ministries to feed the homeless and the displaced, and to spread the Gospel in Tanzania. https://cityonahill.live/memorial-kingdom-builder/
