

James Cotter passed from this life to his eternal home on October 30, 2016 in McKinney, Texas. He was born in Dothan, Alabama on November 26, 1952 to James Cotter and Barbara Head. James was an only child and an avid reader. He especially loved to read anything relating to history and politics. James read countless books about these topics and was eager to learn as much as he could.
James was an intellectual and lover of romantic poetry. He was in the middle of writing a novel and was eager to finish it, but unfortunately did not get the chance. James was an earnest man and a proud veteran of the United States Air force. He always was polite and made sure to say please and thank you any opportunity he was given.
James and his daughter Kathleen shared a lot of things with each other , but a big part of their conversations were about the television show “Mad Men” which they were both so fond of. James was also a lover of music and movies. Some of his favorites being the “Monty Python”, “Sherlock Holmes” , Pink Floyd and of course, The Beatles.
James was preceded in death by his father, James Cotter and his mother, Barbara Head. His legacy continues on through his daughter, Kathleen Cotter of Frisco, Texas and his grandson Jonathan Cotter of Frisco, Texas. James was loved while he was here and will be forever more.
