Reid was such a wonderful person with the absolute biggest heart. When we reconnected after several years, his first thought was to plan an R.A. reunion. Thanks to Reid, 9 of us met in Austin with spouses, partners and children in tow, to catch up and share stories more than a decade after we'd graduated. That was the last night I saw him, but I'll always be grateful that he brought us together again.

I was devastated to hear that he passed, along with so many others from his high school and college days, and his loss leaves a void in all of our lives. I would appreciate any opportunity to formally say goodbye and celebrate his life.

When I think of Reid, I always smile. He was such a wonderful part of the best memories I have from high school. In the past months, we had been texting about getting together to catch up, and I’m heartbroken to know that meeting will never happen. I know he would’ve made me laugh til I cried, as he always did
I love you, Reid! I’m so sorry you were going through so much emotional pain. Westside forever, my favorite homie 💕

I knew Reid for such a short time but enjoyed each and every conversation. Whether making fun of him for eating so much Kale, or threatening to out-yoga him, we always shared entertaining dialogue. This really just feels wrong. I’m just so sad by his passing. Reid- you will not be forgotten.

No one needs to know our past or pain. But this is so unfair to our stories.

It is hard to believe I am writing this about Reid. I have known him since 2nd grade and the thought of someone our age passing away is mind-blowing. I will never forget his sarcasm and smart aleck ways. It was such a part of his charm. But most of all the way he smiled when he talked about those he loved, that will always be what I remember about him. Thank you for all that you brought to this world and I know you will bring it to the next.

Shocked! Such a great person. while I didn’t keep up with Reid through the years, I definitely have great memories of him. Majority of them take place during our Dan F Long basketball seasons and our summer tennis camps. Reid had the best sense of humor and while he was quick to dish it he was just as great about taking it. Reid..may you Rest In Peace sir and my heart goes out to your beautiful family.

I am shocked and saddened to hear the news of your passing. You were a stand-up guy and a friend to everyone you encountered. I remember days of our group of friends getting together and doing the silly stuff kids do. We were a wholesome bunch with a bond you don’t find among peers often these days. May you Rest In Peace sweet friend.

I am beyond heart broken with the news of Reid's passing. He was my first love and my entire childhood is wrapped up with memories of him. I am so thankful to have the incredible memories of us as best friends and childhood sweethearts and I will forever love him and have a place in my heart for him. I would do anything to be able to call him one last time and have him joke with me in his clever ways. I can't imagine never getting another text from him or phone call. I always imagined us friends until our old age and I feel lost knowing he is gone. I love you Reid always and forever.

Oh where do I start? He was my best friend and my love for 4 years. We definitely had our ups and downs but I always cared for him after we parted ways. We had so many great adventures and late nights laughing and dancing in the kitchen. I will always have those memories. I love you baboonies!
