Some of Janice's most loved prayers, hymns and scriptures are below. Please think of her when you pray or sing them.

"I could fall down and hurt myself even if God is walking beside me. That does not mean that God allowed it to happen. I know that because of God’s unconditional love, he will pick me up and carry me, He will try to heal me, He will cry when I cry, He will rejoice when I am well."

"God is right beside me. The truth of God’s love is not that he allows bad things to happen, it is His promise that He will be there with us when they do."

- beloved prayers of Janice Elaine Alich

Whenever I have sorrow Whenever clouds arise When songs give place to sighing When hope within me dies I draw the closer to Him From care He sets me free His eye is on the sparrow And I know He watches me.

- lyrics from "His Eye Is On The Sparrow"

The Lord is my shepherd, I shall not want; he makes me lie down in green pastures. He leads me beside still waters; he restores my soul. He leads me in paths of righteousness for his name’s sake.

Even though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I fear no evil; for thou art with me; thy rod and thy staff, they comfort me.

Psalm 23: 1-4 RSV

For by grace you have been saved through faith; and this is not your own doing, it is the gift of God— 9 not because of works, lest any man should boast

Ephesians 2:8-9 RSV

“Let not your hearts be troubled; believe in God, believe also in me. In my Father’s house are many rooms; if it were not so, would I have told you that I go to prepare a place for you? And when I go and prepare a place for you, I will come again and will take you to myself, that where I am you may be also. John 14:2-3 RSV
