Jean-Adolphe Nkashama received an Engineering Degree in Agronomy from the University of Gembloux.
He was married to Marie-Louise Lusamba Mpinga on May 26th 1973.
Jean-Adolphe Kadima Nkashama worked for Gecamines and subsequently had a career in the private sector.
He had a passion for his family, sports: soccer and tennis and for excellence in education.
He is survived by his children Alex Kadima Nkashama, Marco Kabeya Nkashama, Lisette Tshika Nkashama and Steve Tshibangu Nkashama,
His grandchildren: Glory Nkashama, Marie-Louise Nkashama, Alexia Nkashama, Sophie Nkashama, Yann-Alexander Nkashama and Lucas Nkashama,
His sister: Rose Kabedi
His brothers: Pierre Luboya, Mpinga and Kasonga,
