Jeanie Marie Maxfield passed from this life on to her eternal home on March 28th, 2018 in Frisco, Texas. Jeanie was born on October 8th, 1949 to her parents, Tom Beverly and Hilda Beverly in Dallas, Texas. Jeanie grew up in Highland Park as part of a large, close family. She made wonderful, lifelong memories with her six siblings, Linda, Catherine, Steve, Karen, Cynthia, and Melissa.
Jeanie graduated high school from Highland Park. She married David when she was 19 years old, just days before he departed for the Viet Nam War. Together they had three children, Shawn, Nathan, and Sarah. Jeanie and David spent a wonderful lifetime together. It was 49 years of love, laughter, adventure and most of all devotion. Not only was she a devoted wife, she was a loving stay at home mom who always put family first and loved them more than anyone could imagine.
Jeanie was always young at heart and had a great sense of humor with a slight twist of sarcasm. She will always be remembered as a loving pillar of her family. Even though she had several nieces and nephews, Jeanie cared about each one so much that they all shared special moments with her. Her hobbies included scrapbooking, decorating, photography and playing bocce with the neighbors. Jeanie also loved playing slot machines, cards, and games. Many nights were spent at her parents’ house with David and her family playing a wide variety of card games. One of her favorite places to be was at the casinos. She also was very fond of the beach and relaxing on her back porch, drinking a cup of coffee with David. Jeanie enjoyed a wide variety of music and loved listening to Blake Shelton, Garth Brooks and Elvis Presley.
