October 25, 1984May 27, 2019

Joshua Cole Black passed from this life on May 27, 2019 in Frisco, Texas. Josh was born October 25, 1984 in Midland, Texas to Gary and Grace Black. He had two older siblings, Gina and Richard, and one younger sibling, Victoria.

The family lived in Phoenix, Arizona and El Paso, Texas before moving to Frisco. Josh graduated from Franklin High School in El Paso, Texas in 2003. Following his passion, he moved on to Le Cordon Bleu College of Culinary Arts, graduating in 2010.

Josh loved being a chef, and nothing brought him more joy than cooking for his friends and family. His favorite place to be was the kitchen, but he was also an avid gardener, woodworker and enjoyed his down time on his favorite spot on the couch.

He will be remembered as an independent soul, with a caring heart, always willing to help anyone in need. Above all, Josh cherished his family and made their lives paramount to his own. He is survived by his parents, Gary and Grace Black; his siblings, Gina, Richard, and Victoria; and his nephews, Landon and Mckoen.

Josh was loved while he was with us here on Earth and will continue to be loved through time and eternity. He will be dearly missed by all.

Chela, Gary and family. I am so very sorry for the loss of your precious son, brother and uncle. He was such a beautiful person, inside and out. Such beautiful manners as he and all of you always received me warmly when visiting your home. I know no words can ever bring him back but rest assured, he and Maria are watching over all of you. You may not see him but he is there. Listen. You will hear him. May our Heavenly Father grant him peace and rest in His Kingdom. May our Heavenly Father bring you all peace and comfort. Take care of each other. Miss seeing you all, Adrian.
