My respects to a beautiful young woman inside and out; Kamika had a way of making others feel delighted to cross her path. I have known Kamika since she was a teenager, always respectful with a BIG smile.

She was filled with life and gracefulness; regardless of the circumstances!

As you mourn, we mourn. As you cry, we cry. For she will be missed!!!

Family be of good courage and faith that GOD will be with you always.

Much love and comfort . . . Love you Kamika!!!

My heart goes out to the family! This is difficult for me, as tears stream down my face – I am giving my heart, soul and mind to GOD at this time.

Kamika and I lived in the same community and rode to Health Magnet High School together every day. We shared so many memories and joy; we even cried together - - then I was taken away; however, always with the expectation of seeing my sister soon and meeting my new extended family.

I am lost for words! It’s been more than 23 years since I last seen Kamika; BUT her Spirit still resided in my presence over the years and will forever be here. She was one of the best friends that anyone could ever have; the sister that I never had.

Family, I pray that GOD give you strength and comfort your hearts at this time of grief.

Kamika, your smile and giggles will forever be!!!

I love you MY sister and Rest in Peace . . .

Always and Forever

To know Kamika, and her smile, was to know joy! Her face as the first thing many saw when they entered Our Children’s House provided so much comfort and love.

My life, like countless others, has been changed for the better by simply knowing Kamika. My heart aches with her passing. Kamika was a true Christlike friend to everyone with her gentle way, kindness and authenticity. All who knew her loved her. And she loved us. I will greatly miss our fun times together. Thankfully Kamika and I share many great memories. She has left an exemplary legacy for me to aspire to emulate. May God bless and comfort her wonderful family at this time and in the years ahead.
