Kevin O'Neil Anthony Anderson

Kevin was born on December 6, 1978, in Kingston, Jamaica, to Joshua George Anderson and Jennifer Naomi Anderson, née Harriott. He moved to the United States in the mid-1980s, but his teenage years were spent between New York and Jamaica, where he attended Ardenne High School. He later graduated from Sarah J. High School in Brooklyn, New York.

At the encouragement of his brother Mark, Kevin moved to Texas around 1998. There, he built a life surrounded by family and became a loving and attentive uncle to Mark’s children. He went on to earn a degree in Business Management from Austin Community College and worked in various roles in the food and beverage industry, most recently as a grocery manager.

In 2016, Kevin met Melissa Clark online, and the two quickly fell in love. They were married in 2019 and, after years of navigating the challenges of infertility, were blessed with their daughter, Lily, on November 15, 2024. Becoming a father was a deeply cherished part of Kevin’s life. He was a devoted husband to Melissa and a loving, doting father to Lily, whose presence brought him immense joy.

Kevin lived his life quietly and on his own terms. He never needed to be at the center of attention or part of the in-crowd. For him, some of the best moments were the simple ones—relaxing at home and spending time with the family and close friends he loved.

Those who knew Kevin best will remember him as warm, sensitive, thoughtful, and, in his own understated way, secretly funny. He had a quiet wit and a gentle nature that revealed itself most easily to those closest to him. He took pride in how he presented himself and was known for being neat, well-dressed, and fashionable. More than anything, Kevin was a man who valued the people he loved and found comfort and happiness in the relationships that mattered most.

Kevin leaves behind a family who will miss him deeply and carry his memory forward: his beloved wife, Melissa; his cherished daughter, Lily; his mother, Jennifer; and his siblings, Wayne, Denise, Mark, and Everold. He is also survived by many beloved aunts, uncles, cousins, extended family members, and dear friends.

Kevin’s life may have been quiet, but his presence was deeply felt by those who loved him. He will be remembered not for seeking attention, but for the love, loyalty, warmth, and quiet humor he brought into the lives of the people around him. His memory will live on most especially in the family he loved so dearly.
