With deep love and sorrow, we announce the passing of Kimberly Carty, who left this world peacefully on September 19, 2025, in Little Elm, Texas. Born on July 10, 1969, in Valdosta, Georgia, Kimberly lived a life full of joy, devotion, and deep love for her family and the world around her.
Kimberly had a gift for making others feel at home. Whether through her delicious cooking, her warm laughter, or the simple joy she found in being surrounded by her family, she created a sense of togetherness wherever she went. Her true passion was being a grandma—there was no greater joy to her than the laughter and love of her grandchildren. She delighted in every moment spent with them, whether it was playtime, snuggles, or cheering them on in life.
She loved to travel, especially to sunny beaches where she could feel the warmth of the sun and the peace of the ocean. A lifelong explorer at heart, she especially enjoyed adventurous drives through mountain forest service roads in the Jeep she shared with her husband, John. Staying healthy and active came naturally to her—not through routine, but through love. Playing with her grandkids, walking, swimming, and just enjoying life kept her vibrant and strong.
Professionally, Kimberly had many roles, each one touched by her dedication and care. She worked as a patient services representative in an orthopedic office and managed Quiznos, but her favorite endeavor was running the Get Loaded food truck alongside her husband. It combined her love for food, community, and working side by side with the one she loved most.
Kimberly is preceded in death by her father, George. She is survived by her loving husband, John, and their children and their spouses: Maddy & Tony, John Jr & Allie, Jackie & Aaron. Her legacy continues through her cherished grandchildren: Liam, Leo, Evelyn, Lexi, Oliver, Harper, and Houston.
She is also survived by her mother, Genie, her father, Randy, and her brothers, Chuck and Randy.
A memorial service to honor Kimberly’s life will be held at Stonebriar Funeral Home in Frisco Texas, on October 10th. A celebration of life will also take place in March in St. George, Utah—a place close to her heart.
Kimberly's life was one of love, laughter, and unwavering devotion to those she held dear. Her light, her spirit, and her love will continue to live on in every heart she touched. She will be deeply missed and forever remembered.
