Born on January 24, 1964, in Merriam, Kansas, Lana was the cherished daughter of John Miller and Dixie Miller née Hicks.
Lana graduated from DeSoto High School in 1982. She then pursued higher education at The University of Oklahoma, where she earned a Bachelor's degree in Accounting. Following her passion for precision and finance, she successfully obtained her CPA license, forging a successful career in Accounting that then pivoted to Project Management.
Lana lived a life full of love and adventure. She was an avid traveler who embraced the outdoors, finding joy in skiing, scuba diving, cruising, and exploring nature.
Her most profound love was reserved for animals. From her childhood companions—her beloved cat Gretel and horse Easy Loving—to the many pets she welcomed throughout her life, animals held a special place in her heart. She was rarely seen without a cat on her lap, a testament to the deep, mutual affection she shared with her furry friends.
On May 7, 2022, she married her current husband, Skyler Pulliam, at the North Dallas Government Center.
Lana's memory will be forever cherished by her devoted husband, Skyler; her children, Drew, Valerie, and Shannon; her step-children, Ashley, Sarah, and Emily; her step-grandchildren, Layla and Claire; her brother, John; her sister, Sabrina; and her nieces and nephews, Ryan, Heather, Aubree, and Bryce.
She was preceded in death by her loving parents, John and Dixie Miller.
