Lara Anne Seastone

Lara was born in Pascagoula, MS on January 7, 1969. She was the daughter of Billy Hugh Perry and Miriam Joan Motes and had one brother Darryl Perry. Lara’s gorgeous green eyes, infectious smile and sweet giggle endeared her to everyone, but especially to her father. She was daddy’s girl.

On December 9th, 1989 she began her family life by having her precious daughter Jade Lauren Seastone and on December 27, 1992 they both married B.J. Seastone. Lara and B.J. added two more children to the family Dylan Seastone, and Nicolas Seastone. In 2007 Jade blessed Lara with her first grandchild Sara Grace and her second in 2015, Harper Kennedy Brooks. Although she looked too young to be a grandmother, we know she is very happy to have had the precious time with them since being Nana was her passion.

Lara had a special relationship with Jesus Christ and faith in God. She was a dedicated loving and devoted soulmate to her husband B.J. As a mom to her beautiful children and grandchildren they describe her as also a sister, best friend and spiritual leader. There was a special place in her heart for her pets Sammie, Lulu, and Kitty. Lara enjoyed being a teacher, vacations at the beach, traveling to Europe and listening to Kenny Chesney. Her favorite nicknames were Momma, LaLa, Nana and Ms. Lara. She had a heart of an angel and a vivacious personality that was loved by pretty much everyone she met.

Lara and her family had a special relationship with Redonna Johnston and her children Olivia, Josh and Rob, she described Redonna as her “Person” and cherished their friendship. Lara was also very happy to have continued to stay in contact with her childhood best friend Kim Newbill and her family Michael, Brandon and Gracie.

Lara is survived by her husband, B.J. Seastone; daughter, Jade Seastone; sons, Dylan John Seastone and Nicolas John Seastone; granddaughters Sara Grace Seastone and Harper Kennedy Brooks as well as her Mother and brother Darryl Perry.

Lara was loved while she was with us here on earth, and will continued to be loved through time and all eternity.
