

Lawrence Paul Sutton, 68, passed away on Tuesday, August 18, 2020 in Plano, TX. A private family memorial service will be held at a later date. Larry was born in the Panama Canal Zone on February 5, 1952. His father was in the U.S. Air Force and they were stationed in multiple places including England, Alaska and California before ultimately calling Texas home. Larry graduated from Texas State Technical Institute in Waco, TX with a degree in Air Conditioning and Refrigeration Technology in 1972 and a Bachelor of Arts in General Studies from The University of Texas at Dallas in 1989. He spent over 40 years working in the heating and air conditioning business, allowing him to travel throughout the US and Asia. Larry enjoyed building things, talking politics and sports, telling stories and working on cars/trucks. Larry was predeceased by parents, John T. Sutton Jr. and Florence Sutton; and his sister, Kathy Youngblood and his brother, Mike Sutton. Survivors: Wife, Oon Sutton; sons, Larry Sutton Jr., Matthew Sutton, and Adam Sutton; daughter, Jennifer Northern; stepson, Bang Thaphina; siblings, Steve Sutton, Debbie Koennecke, Rick Sutton, John Sutton and their families as well as six grandchildren.
