Linda Sue Warren passed away on March 18, 2026, in Prosper, TX after a long and courageous battle with pancreatic cancer. She is preceded in death by her parents, Sharon Dale and Angelina Bovier Weekly of Beaufort, SC.
Born on April 6, 1951, in Trieste, Italy, Linda lived on many Army bases before graduating high school from Clarksville High School in Clarksville, TN. She worked as a lifeguard at the Fort Campbell, KY swimming pool where she met David Warren - the man she would be married to for 54 years.
Throughout her life, Linda organized her family of 5 through moves to Georgia, Texas, Ohio, Colorado, Missouri and Florida.
In addition to being the Chief Operating Officer of the Warren household, she became an amazing cook (sadly a skill she developed after her children moved out) and an accomplished painter. She played tennis and golf, could sew anything and her garden was always in full bloom. She loved a good long game of dominoes or cards, Mah Jong, a good bottle of wine, and absolutely anything on The Food Network.
Linda is survived by her husband, David Warren, her daughters Rebecca (Matthew) McCarty and Carrie (Mike) Aurin, her son Jeff (Taylor) Warren, as well her sister Pam (Chris) Conley. She leaves behind 7 grandchildren: Lauren, Davis and Maren McCarty of Overland Park, KS, Charlie and Nora Aurin of Plain City, OH and Henry and Louise Warren of Dallas, TX.
A Celebration of Linda’s life will be held on June 6, 2026, at The Bridge (1001 Windsong Parkway South, Prosper, TX 75078) from 1:00pm-4:00pm.
Linda was a wonderful and caring wife, mother and mother-in-law, grandmother, sister and friend. She was deeply loved by her family and is greatly missed.
