Lucy Leigh Lynch passed away on October 8, 2026, at the tender age of 7 weeks +1 day. Born on August 19, 2026, in Frisco, Texas, she was the cherished daughter of Justin Eric Lynch and Reagan Leigh Lynch. Lucy was born with an unknown condition that caused acute liver failure.
Lucy was named after her incredibly strong great grandmother Lucy Berryhill (Granny Lucy).
Throughout her short but extraordinary life, she received care at Children's Health Dallas and Texas Children's Hospital, where she touched the hearts of numerous doctors, specialists, and nurses who became part of her journey. She was dearly loved by her older sister, Ryan Kate and brother, Shepherd. Her brother lovingly nicknamed her "Super Lucy," a name that perfectly reflected her courageous spirit.
Despite the challenges she faced, Lucy demonstrated remarkable strength, resilience, and grit beyond her days.
Through her unwavering determination and brave fight, Lucy inspired countless people and drew many closer to the steadfast love of Jesus.
Though her time with us was brief, her life left a lasting impact on all who knew and loved her. Her legacy of faith, courage, and love will be treasured forever.
Lucy is survived by her loving parents, Justin and Reagan Lynch; her beloved sister, Ryan Kate; and her proud brother, Shepherd, all of Celina, Texas. She is also survived by her grandparents, Royce and Delinda Hobbs of Stillwater, Oklahoma; her grandmother, Vickie Harter of Dewey, Oklahoma; many aunts, uncles and cousins; and a large circle of extended family and treasured friends who were blessed to know her and whose lives were touched by her sweet spirit, courageous heart, and the joy she brought to everyone around her. Lucy was preceded in death by her grandfather, Tom Lynch and uncle, Tucker Hobbs.
A Celebration of Life Funeral Service will be held at Prestonwood Baptist Church - North Campus, 1001 W Prosper Trail, Prosper, TX 75078, US, on October 16, 2026, from 10:00 am to 11:00 am.
A Committal Service will be held at Walnut Grove Cemetery, 3717 N Custer Rd, Prosper, TX 75078, US, on October 16, 2026, at 11:30 am.
The family has asked that in lieu of flowers a donation be made in Lucy Lynch's name to Ronald McDonald House of Greater Houston.
