Major Ernest Lee Albright

With heavy hearts yet deep gratitude for a life well lived, we celebrate the incredible journey of Ernest Lee Albright, who passed away peacefully on February 1, 2025 in Frisco, Texas at the age of 79.

Born on September 20, 1945 in Chicago, Illinois to Frances and Curtis Albright, Ernest lived a life full of purpose, passion, and kindness. A visionary for service, he dedicated his life, to serving his county in the US Air Force and retiring as a Major. After retiring from the Air Force, he continued to serve his community as a probation and parole officer for the State of Missouri. Ernest not only changed lives but left an enduring impact that will be felt for generations to come.

Beyond his military success, Ernest was a devoted husband to his beautiful wife, Linda Jane Albright, he was also a father, a grandfather, a brother, and a friend to everyone. He was always putting love and family at the center of his world. His generosity, wisdom, and unwavering support was the foundation upon which so many found strength and inspiration.

Though Ernest has left this world, his legacy endures in the lives he has touched, the lessons he taught, and the love he shared. Ernest’s memory will be cherished by his wife, Linda Jane Rowe Albright; his sons, Eric Lee and Mark Douglas Albright; Granddaughter, Sophia Rose Albright Korte; grandson, Alexander Douglas Albright; sister, Phyllis Jane Albright Hubeny; and all who were fortunate enough to know them.

A Visitation will be held at 10am with a celebration of Ernest’s life starting at 11am will be held on Monday, February 17th, 2025 at Stonebriar Funeral Home located at 10375 Preston Rd, Frisco, TX 75033 where friends and family can gather to honor his remarkable story.

A private graveside service will be held at Dallas/Ft Worth National Cemetery in Dallas, Texas.
